It has been a slow (and rather unremarkable) week for me so far. Unremarkable all round, really. Though the weather has been fairly cold and grey. Cold and grey weather doesn't really make you want to leap up from bed in the morning and do the conga or anything.

Bought myself a copy of Kin by Holly Black; it's volume one of her Good Neighbors series and I was more than a little surprised to find it. For some reason decent graphic novels are hard to find here. No idea why. I would definitely reconsider my position on those books if they had more moments like that! Especially considering that K Stew and R Pattz would then have to act them out for the movies. LOL.

Also: random LOTR comic about bad fanfic FTW! ...especially the Ring Wraiths!

Here's a rather cute one about Naruto; Iruka-sensei seriously deserves some kind of medal for dealing with all the stuff that seems to just get dumped on his head. Poor guy, seriously.

Here's an Avatar: Last Airbender short comic that I found - actually through the help of feral_kin  (thank you Col!) - and thought I should really share it. It centers around Pakku and Kanna (Katara and Sokka's grandmother) and is...wow...very pretty.

Whilst cruising through DeviantArt I found a link to an online manga/comic thing called Ever After that looks really fantastic. It features nursery rhyme and fairytale characters with a dark twist and the art is just lovely -- though a part of me wishes it was in color!
